Sire of Tai Chi: Stallion Tycoon by Donaumonarch

Stallion Tycoon by Donaumonarch A proven breeding stallion having produced several Premium mares. At Neümunster in 2004, both the Grand Champion (sold for 160,000 Euros) AND Reserve Champion (sold for 110,000) Stallions were out of Tycoon Daughters!

Tycoon himself is of excellent Trakehner type, large frame with an ideal top-line and three outstanding gaits. At his 100 day performance test he finished 13th out of 50 with excellent marks in Dressage and Jumping. He competed successfully in Germany both in dressage and jumping before concentrating on his stud duties.




Grand Sire: Stallion Donaumonarch by Sir Shostakovich

Donaumonarch standing an impressive 17hh finished his 100 day performance test as a Class 1 stallion placing 8th of 72. He is approved with the Trakehner, Hanover, Oldenburg and Mecklenburg breeds. Donaumonarch is a Grade A International Show Jumper and a half brother to Premium Stallion Tolstoi.




Great Grand Sire: Sir Shostakovich

A Grand Prix Jumper who has produced many descendants that are currently competiting at the World Cup level. Sir Shostakovich was highly sought after because of his enormous jumping ability. The Holstein Verband approved 2 of his sons from his first foal crop!

Tai Chi, is the great granddaughter of Kentucky Derby Champion Nijinsky II who himself is the son of Horse Racing Hall of Fame inductee Northern Dancer.




Tai Chi's Great Great Grand Sire : Northern Dancer by Neartic

Probably the most famous Canadian champion horse, Winner of the Kentucky Derby (1964). First Canadian bred horse to win a $100,000 race. He won 14 of his 18 races and never finished any lower than third.

Inducted in the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame in 1976.
